Free, and staying free
- Permanently free are unlimited entries (one tracked condition, up to three medications and three custom triggers), the body map, reminders, and the doctor report covering the last seven days: summary, body-map heatmap and the day-by-day log, with no credit system and no per-export fee. It is not a trial and it does not expire.
- Without Premium the free version stays usable, with the limits above.
Premium prices in the US
| Plan | iPhone and iPad (App Store) | Android (Google Play) |
|---|---|---|
| Monthly subscription | $5.99 | $5.99 |
| Annual subscription | $34.99 | $34.99 |
| Lifetime, one-time purchase | $79.99 | $79.99 |
- Free trial. The annual subscription starts with a 7-day free trial for new subscribers. The store decides who counts as new.
- The two stores are priced separately. The same plan can cost a little more or less on one of them, which is why the table has a column for each.
- Apple and Google set prices per country. The price shown in your own App Store or Google Play is the one that applies to you, and it can differ from this table.
- Subscriptions renew automatically until you cancel. You cancel in the store: in your Apple subscription settings on iPhone and iPad, in Google Play subscriptions on Android. In the app, Settings, then Manage subscription, opens that page. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.
- Lifetime is a single purchase. It does not renew.
German prices are on the German page (Preise).
What Premium adds
Full history depth, 30-day, 90-day and custom report ranges, the report's chart, per-area and medication tables, the Insights screen, CSV export, cloud backup, and the removal of the free tier's limits (one condition, three medications, three custom triggers).
For organisations and clinicians
How the app is funded is on the About page: by its users, through this optional upgrade, and by nothing else. A checkable summary of what the app does is on App facts. If your organisation needs a price fact this page does not state, write to contact@vizaxis.com.
Pain Journal is a personal pain diary. It is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis or treatment. Talk to a clinician about your treatment.
